Art Fair Tokyo 20.

ART FAIR TOKYO 20 will be held at the Tokyo International Forum from March 13 to 15, 2026.
At the Kagawa Urushi Lacquerware Institute booth within the fair, I and Michiyo Kitaoka hold a two-person exhibition.
Currently, I am creating a series of butterfly-shaped boxes, wall panels, accessories, and other items for this exhibition (the butterfly box in the photo is in the process of being layered with urushi).
Although the exhibition space is not large, I hope to display a variety of works, both large and small, including past pieces.
Once the materials are ready, I will provide further details.

My works have started to be represented by Gallery Japan.

I am pleased to announce that my works have started to be represented by Gallery Japan.
Gallery Japan is one of the largest online galleries in Japan, bringing together around 2,000 leading craftspeople, including Living National Treasures.

At present, it is offering my past works, but from 2026 I plan to gradually present new creations as well.

Kagawa Shitsugei (urushi) Gallery "Irodori" now carries some of my piece.

I’m pleased to share that some of my pieces has begun to be exhibited in the gallery "Irodori" in Naoshima, Kagawa.

The gallery focuses on Kagawa urushi (lacquer) art, presenting highly skilled works by a wide range of artists, from holders of important intangible cultural properties to young artists, in a permanent exhibition space. In addition, it regularly holds special exhibitions. Also there is a store with affordable pieces.
If you have a chance to visit Naoshima, I would be delighted if you could stop by and view the exhibition.
