After studying Urushi art in Kagawa Prefecture, I worked mainly in public exhibitions and group exhibitions for about 10 years.
For 13 years from 2011, I took a break from production activities to raise my three children. Then, in the spring of 2024, I gradually resumed my activities.
I hope to create works that feel like a passage from the past to the future, while respecting the beauty of urushi (Japanese lacquer) material itself.
